Bacchus Biker and former CRA employee Casola busted

A Sudbury man police say is a member of the Bacchus Motorcycle Club was released on bail Monday afternoon. Christopher Casola, 46, is facing 11 charges, including breach of trust and weapons offences after a “complex” 16-month investigation.

Police allege Casola unlawfully accessed confidential records between November and December of 2014. Those whose records were accessed are being notified. In November 2014 three chapters of the Red Devils patched over to join the Bacchus Motorcycle Club. Overnight, it became the second largest MC in Canada, with nine chapters and about 100 members.
Casola, a former employee of the Canada Revenue Agency, was charged with counts that include breach of trust, unauthorized use of a computer, committing a criminal offence to benefit or in association with a criminal organization (two counts), unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm and possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition.
